The rules for using MarkViewer and Artifact Workbench — both free.
These terms cover MarkViewer and Artifact Workbench (“the software”), published by Seungbin Baik, an independent developer trading as MarkViewer, contactable at seungbin.baik@gmail.com. Using the software means accepting them.
Both apps are free of charge. You get a licence to use the software on computers you own or control. You are not buying the software itself, and the copyright stays with the publisher.
Reading the software, taking it apart to understand it, or running it however you like on your own machines is fine. Do not redistribute the software as your own.
The software runs on your computer and edits files you open with it. Your work is yours and never reaches the publisher; there is no account and the apps work offline. The one thing they do reach out for is checking whether a newer version is available.
Because it writes to real files, keep backups of anything you cannot lose. The software takes its own snapshot before letting an AI agent touch a directory, but that is a convenience, not a backup system.
The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It will have bugs. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for any damages arising from its use.
You may stop using the software at any time, and you may keep using what you have installed.
These terms may change. The date above says when they last did.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
